Lighthouse showcased at Mlab 2014

Last month the Inlight team hit the stage at MLab 2014 to showcase the power of beacon technology. Group M's exclusive digital future event was held at Fox Studio's 3,500 sqm Stage 1 and brought together a number of innovative exhibitors showcasing Australia-firsts, prototypes and pre-releases of upcoming technologies. We were lucky enough to be selected based on the recent release of our innovative beacon platform - Lighthouse. Other exhibitors included Pandora, Twitter, Shazam, Instagram, News Corp, Southern Cross AusStereo and Local Measure.

The event ran over five days and we presented directly to GroupM clients, staff and key industry people. Some of the brands represented included Jetstar, ALDI, Fiat Chrysler Group, American Express, Kelloggs, Tourism NZ, Foxtel, Westpac and National Australia Bank to name a few.

Over the five days we ran 74 eight minute presentations that included a live tech demo and it was clear that clients couldn’t help but get excited by the prospect of using beacon tech in their own marketing and media strategies moving forward. Since then we've been conducting a number of strategy sessions to assist brands with planning and implementing beacon pilot programs.
