The past year has been a big one for Inlight, and we felt it was time to update our website to reflect the direction we are heading, as well as some of the great projects we have been working on recently. We also hope to use this new blog to share some of our thoughts and ideas about web and mobile, along with anything else we find interesting and think is worth sharing.

In our experience over the last few years, the quickest way to kill a blog is to set a precedence for writing lengthy, in-depth and well groomed posts. We all have full time jobs to do, and the last thing you need is another commitment like that to take care of. The content that we will post will be short and sharp, and may be a little rough around the edges, but we hope that you'll get some value or amusement out of it. Most of the posts will come from the team here at Inlight, but we welcome anyone who would like to share their thoughts or even a cool project that they are working on.

So what has Inlight been up to recently? As you will notice from some of the featured projects on the home page, we have been spending a lot of time developing iOS applications over the last 6 months. The most recent and largest of these was an iPad and iPhone application coined 'Twelevision', which allows you to easily watch and contribute to the stream of conversation that is growing around television programs. This project was an idea born out of the Clemenger BBDO creative team, which we have been working collaboratively with over the last four months or so. It has been a challenging project that dealt with a number of technologies, some of them quite new, so hopefully we can share some of our experience and insights over the next few weeks as the project wraps up. You can check out the project here.

The other big change that our company has undergone over the last 12 months, is a movement and crystallisation of our company's direction and positioning within the online industry. Our focus has narrowed to become a lead development partner for advertising and other media agencies, specialising in the development of custom websites, online applications and mobile development. Take a look through our work to see some of the other great projects we have been involved in recently.
