The Brief

Just Car Insurance is the leading insurer of high performance, modified and imported cars. We saw an opportunity for Just Car Insurance to partner with Universal Pictures for the launch of Fast and Furious 6 so we proactively pitched a co-branded Facebook application.

Solution

We designed and developed a Facebook game that allowed friends and fans to test their knowledge of the Fast and Furious film franchise by completing a series of trivia questions. It's a ¼ mile race against other fans - the more questions you get right the quicker your time.

Results

  • Total fans 104,123 making Just Car Insurance the largest Australian insurance community
  • 8,213 new fans
  • 4,150 email leads
  • 51,096 completed races
  • 4 minutes 51 seconds average time spent
  • 500,000+ trivia questions answered

The Fast & Furious 6 Facebook application developed by Inlight delivered some fantastic results. The app attracted a highly targeted audience, saw really strong levels of engagement and finally pushed us past 100k Facebook fans!
