The Brief

The Just Car target market has a burning passion for their modified and high performance vehicles. So what better way to let them unleash their creativity than to host a video upload competition? The campaign objectives included:

  • Drive reach and engagement within the Just Car Insurance target audience and community
  • Leverage user generated content to extend reach and build a media library
  • To build the Just Car Insurance email database
  • Reinforce brand positioning as the insurer for modified, high performance and imported vehicles

Solution

We developed a responsive campaign website that allowed entrants to upload their own Just Car Insurance TV commercial. The site was heavily integrated with Facebook to increase campaign virality, and included downloadable TV assets, voting capability, leaderboards and prize information.

Results

  • 4,310 total users
  • 59 high quality videos submitted
  • 3,551 video votes
  • 67,049 video views
  • 37,000+ site visits
